Whats the feeling on opening comics that are sealed in plastic because they are some kind of special release? I have some questions and would love some feedback:
1. Does it hurt the value?
2. Will it eventually damage the comics? I ask this question because I was once told that the plastic that is used is normally of the cheaper variety and not acid free so over time the comic will be damaged.
any other opinions or information would be welcome.
Currently what I am doing, is opening the package and bagging/boarding the comic properly, but on the opposite side of the board away from the comic, I am saving the plastic, IF it had some kind of writing on it.
