I finally found my Heavy Metal mag collection. My mother thought sold them in a garage sale. I'm not sure the values or even how to properly store them anymore. I believe I have them starting in 1977 to early 2000's. Any help figuring out what I have would be greatly appreciated. I'll probably sell the,hem all if anyone's interested. Have a nice day. J.J.

did you try looking them up here in the price guide? https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/heavy-metal/skqyn
try google? try 'that' auction site for SOLD prices? lots of big comic sites sell them. All kinds of info on the net for these. Selling in bulk will get you less money, but saves months of trying to sell them individually. Condition makes a huge difference, and these are not rare in high grade, so well read copies won't sell for much.
properly storing them may not mean much by now, depends on how they've been stored and how degraded they are. comic shops have magazine size boxes, and usually it's best to store them upright and snugly. storing flat is usually ok too, but I wouldn't stack like 100 in 1 box that way so spines on the bottom ones don't get squashed or kinked. I alternate small groups for flat storing so that the spines are 'opposite' other groups, as it helps to decrease spine roll. but again, depending on the condition of yours, it may not matter much. Generally low humidity and not extreme temperature environments are best. Attics and basements are not usually very good places.
that's my 2 cents.

Hi Jjhogaboom, did you ever decide whether you'll be selling your collection or not? I'm currently looking for back issues. Thanks!
