Regarding Captain Atom #83, that is a great book to own and I wish that I had one. But we cannot base our pricing on a Pedigree copy that is also the highest graded copy. Those have a special premium that would skew the rest of the prices. For right now, based on the data I gathered it is correctly priced.
The Canadian Whites that you linked to are also the highest graded copies, so we cannot base our pricing on those. I will look into those Canadian White issues and see if anything needs to be changed. Ron

The Pedigree copy on the Comiclink site has yet to go for auction. (picture is just below that one, so I understand how it could be missed) The one that sold for $1900 was a CGC 9.4, which is not the highest graded. The CGC census shows 2 9.6's and a 9.8 graded. I just mentioned that one as the last CGC 9.4 sold for half that amount less than year ago. If it's not ready to update, that's fine, but it's worth keeping an eye on. The Canadian whites are not that skewed, they are simply rare. The file I sent you has some issues duplicated with sales for different grades so at least you can use those for comparison. For many Canadian Whites it is estimated that there are less than 20 copies of some of the earlier ones, so the best of 20 doesn't change much in the scarcity department.
I just checked the CGC census for Triumph comics as I know it's a more sought after title, and no issue has more than 5 graded with most only having a single issue graded. It's easy to be the pedigree when you're the only one. That's how scarce they are. Check out the CGC census yourself for any title and I'm sure that virtually all titles published before 1946 will have a similar result. Anglo American will have more price differences as they published into the 1950's and later issues seem a little more common.

Not sure why my last post is under guest... I think I took to long to type, but it still said I was logged in... Oh well, it was me.
On to another book... Richard Dragon: Kung-Fu Fighter #5, first Lady Shiva. I won't give a price but it can be seen that it is going for well over CPG listing price.

in replying to my answer to a 'can't find it' post, that OP pointed out one way overvalued reprint on CPG, the 2010 Superman Vs Muhammad Ali hardcover: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/superman-vs-muhammad-ali/thwsi $250 in 9.4 raw? nope. that auction site shows them for $16.99 (w/free shipping too) to $28 or so for the regular #1, and $30-$40 or so for the facsimile #1A edition, for SOLD prices. One signed by Neal Adams at a convention, w/certificate, only went for $27.
Also, the cover price is $19.99 according to mycomicshop, not $2.50. DC can't sell hardcovers for $2.50.
And this thread needs to be pinned at the top, right? Bye. edited by collectibleshop on 3/22/2018

1st Shiva and Muhammad vs Superman have been changed to reflect the market.
Shockingly, I cannot pin a post to the top of the page. Pretty much everything else on the site except that. Ron

First - let me say congrats on this issue - Two-Gun Kid #77. Recent sale on eBay for $66 in 6.5 to 7.0 condition. Right on the money with 6.5 at $63 and 7.0 at $71.
good job. Bravo.
A couple of minor items from my recent "in person" sales (sorry, I have destroyed all the evidence).
Batman Eternal #1 graded 9.8 - CPG price $33.60 Actual Sales $40. Spider-Girl #0 - CPG price graded 9.6 $28.80 - actual price $37.50 Spider-Girl #1 - CPG price graded 9.6 $28.80 - actual price $37.50
Keep up the good work - you guys a a little conservative, but close. I'd rather you be conservative than like that other overpriced guide. Helps me when I use the guide to buy comics.

KDS, We got prices right! YES!
You did some nice research. Your numbers and CPG's new numbers are very close. The graded 9.8's of Spider Girl were $60 for 0 and above that for number 1. All 3 issues have been changed. Ron

Not sure how long you want to keep this thread going... Another books that is gaining attention (slowly, and long ignored) is Green Lantern Corps 201 (first Kilowog). I always liked the character so I'm glad he's getting noticed.

Iron Puppy, Kilowog has always been one of my favorites too. I'll check it out.
