I just got through watching Seth MacFarlane's new comedy series "The Orville." That is because I read somewhere a comment that said "The Orville" is more like Star Trek than the new Star Trek series. I have not seen the new series of Star Trek, but I do agree that "The Orville" is very much like a regular show of Star Trek. Did McFarland want to do a serious role in the new Star Trek series, but was turned down, and then opted to get complete control of a comedy series that turned out to be "The Orville?" And by having complete control the network did not have time to view it and it was too late and they had to put it on the television as is?

So how do you feel about Macfarlane?😜😄😄😄 Seeing one commercial for that show was enough to know it would suck.
