Can not find anything on :
Walt Disney Wonderful World Whitman Golden digest from Canada
1956 #1 it shows Donald Duck washing dishes and a woodpecker
attacking stack of the stack dishes

huh, I replied to this earlier today and thought I hit 'add message' and saw it posted, but now it's not there.
I couldn't find anything anywhere on that title, even using variations and less keywords, so check inside for the publishing info for the exact title and see if if something is different from the cover title. I found nothing on comics.org, google and google image search, and that auction site, for anything that had most of those words in the title, so something isn't quite right there. If it's 'Golden Book' and is a hardcover, then it may not be listed here, as most of that kind of stuff isn't.

Likewise on this site, couldn't find it. Only place I found only had a reprint from 1978 that had the cover you described. See below.

that's gotta be it, just found it on comics.org after a google search too, as Walt Disney's Wonderful World #1, as on the cover. MCS has it listed as Wonderful World of Disney for some reason, which is not what's on the cover. Guess I didn't search enough variations after all. But saw nothing dated for 1956. Whitman's are usually reprints, so it may say inside what comic or story from another comic it reprints.
