Steranko is top notch in my book. He wasn't as prolific of some artists, writers and creators but he definitely made his mark. His first work in Spyman is still a reasobale priced book. Getting a high grade of it is a little harder but still easily enough. Looks like you, me, the administrator and a few others are just hanging around here now. Dead but not dead yet!

Ha ha ha. It is a bit quiet around here. I partly blame this on the rise of social media and the prevalence of smartphones which started about 8 years ago (which is when board activity dropped --and not just here). Aaron

Never thought about that. I know eight years ago there was a lot of talks of politics in the USA. A good amount left after the flame wars of that and recently the crash of the site lost around 95% of the remaining members posting. Before the crash there was at least a good core of members even though it was under 40 people. Tex kept it lively and many responded to his good nature.

Yeah, the crash didn't help. It's all Obama's fault!

The crash definitely didn't help. And yeah, I've heard the same thing about social media destroying the traditional internet forum. Most of the other forums that I frequent are also suffering from a lack of participation, though at least CPG doesn't have the trolls and troublemakers as the only people still posting. Small victories!
And nice X-Men books. I'm getting antsy about buying again after seeing those... Soon I will be able to buy again...

two nice 9.6 books.....and a 9.8. The Wolverine book I have a few raw copies and the Killing joke I have this 9.6 and two or three 9.8 books beside my 6 to 8 raw copies. One of those books I use to buy up when there was a deal.

Cool stuff! Reminds me of stuff I have in my collection, but haven't seen in about 35 years and stuff I at one time had as a kid, but didn't save, and stuff that I have never seen before.

Thanks kind sir! Sometimes seeing others books gets me interested in finding new series or copies of individual books. Other times it gets me looking thru my boxes thinking or hoping I do own a book. Funny I sometimes think I own a book and look for it and never find it. Some books I've bid on so many times and not won in auctions and give up, only to think years later I own it, never to find in my boxes.
