CGC has slabbed over 300 9.8s. Not super rare. It also means there will be lots of reported sales, that feeds the frenzy.
There's more than twice as many #98s in 9.8. If everyone who bought a high grade 1st Deadpool slab wants a matching 1st Cable, there's gonna be a shortage...

Well with that many 9.8s for a book that has become a hot 1st appearance from 1990 isn't really a big surprise and true, it isn't rare by any means. Any hot book will tend to have some owners have their books graded by CBCS or CGC to mostly resell.
My original post was just tongue and cheek with owners description of book. Any book that is graded a 9.8 is great by me.

Gotta love pre-code Catwoman covers. Any of her covers are always in demand. She started out in Batman #1-3, those are out of reach for most of us. So anything will have to do for Catwoman collectors.
The list of GA female bad guys that are still remembered is tiny.

Don't know.
In #1 Batman tries to defeat "The Cat". Spoiler: The cat burglar is a lady cat burglar.
In #2 she's back and going by Catwoman.
In #3 she gets a costume.
I haven't read, or don't remember any of her other GA stories.

It's been a while since I posted any of my new buys so here are a few from the past few months.
I have been trying for ages to get a Saga 3rd print and 4th print. In picking up this bundle I have nailed the third print.
