Sounds good - I am all for a bar code scanner.
Once you get the scanner there are several things to do with it - but perhaps that is too long range.

We have the new app up and functional as 400 people have downloaded it in the last 2 days. Thank you all for paying attention!
There was a minor issue with very large phones that we've already got a fix sent to Google and Apple. It might be Tuesday since most of them are off work for Christmas/New Years. If the ads are blocking your search bar that will be fixed when they approve our newest fix.
If you have any issues please don't leave low feedback, please talk to me. I will help you! I promise! We would love to have 5-star reviews for this improvement.
Finally, if a UPC isn't entered, you can enter it and it will immediately work. This is a temporary thing that skips our normal approval process but we want to really speed things up for you.

I will mention this again. IDK how many times I've submitted it, but Deadpool #14 (2019) has 2 covers that are distinctively different with the same bar code. Marvel did hidden Carnage web variants and if I scan both covers it comes up as the same cover even though it isn't.

Ron, when I try to look at my collection in my app (on a Galaxy S10 phone), the app immediately crashes. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and it still crashes. Have you heard of this issue from other users? Is there anything that can be done to restore the app's functionality on my phone? Thanks.

I find your web page works so well on my phone I am reluctant to try the app I guess this is both good news and bad news for your. I will have to try again if you have the barcode reader up and running - this would save me time in adding comics - I assume I would still have to go in, but in a new "virtual" box" (and enter grade, sale price, etc. Thanks - keep up the good work both on the web and the app.
Any "trail" time for the app or do you have to purchase?

The app is currently free and you've mentioned the best feature, the bar code scanner. It's nice when you don't have to type in the title of a book and then search for the issue. You will soon be addicted to it.

I am on it! tried to use the bar code scanner on Whitman comics from late 70s / early 80s - Those are a bit challenging as some had bar codes and some did not. Also probably not on the top of your list - not valuable or popular books.
I will have to retry on more common / newer UPC codes.
I see users can now add UPC codes - just like you can other issue information. Good job! Looks like a feature - shout this one out!

The app still crashes when I click on the Collection button on my android Galaxy S10, even with the new update. I tried it on my wife's phone and it crashes on her's, too. Is anyone else having this issue.

I have a galaxy s10e and collection seems to open with no issues.

It looks like Basement Comics has an S10e that works fine with the app and you have one that doesn't work. This is a confusing one.
Where are you located in the world fdaz89? Maybe it's related to location.

You are correct.
When we originally worked on the app we were thinking that the app would be best for conventions. You can quickly look at your want list or your collection or the price guide and make a purchase decision. If you wanted a bigger picture you could look at the site for sales, forums, price changes, etc.

I think that is the problem. The app would have to pull those images from a different place. I'm thinking that the connection isn't in place for customer scanned images with the app OR the memory isn't enough for those larger images. Either way, we have a clearer picture of your problem so we can work on it.
