Or you can print to a Microsoft ".xps" Document Writer file if your printing system has this capability. This is still a graphical file, so nothing to get too excited about.

I haven't used Comicbase. Nothing against it but I made a choice and went with ComicsPriceGuide. It's been a year and I'm still inputting comics (my fault really, can't find time to go through the boxes). I'd hate to do 2 systems. CPG Seems mostly usable, just a few tweeks would be nice. Depends I guess on what type of user you are. While I am not actively selling any of my collection, it's nice to see the values and overall picture.

However, if I do want to sell It seems CPG does not have any good ways to determine what I would like to sell. I certainly don't plan to sell all Marvels or DC's or whatever. It would be nice if the system allowed the minimal query items I talked about. Now if you really want to hold your breath, then the system could identify those items that are hot/increasing in price and put them in a separate list.

While you're holding your breathe for that, have you ever tried Comicbase? I have all my comics imputed into both systems. (CBPG and Comicbase) Each has pros and cons but Comicbase has all the breakdown criteria options you could want. With my books in both systems, I have a better idea of the true value range of them...............Just my two cents.

For example
* Give me all my comics valued $200 or more.
* Give me all comics graded 9.0 or above.
* Give me all comics graded 9.0 or above and valued at $200 or more.
I'm sure there are a few other options that could easily be added. Of course with the export, one can do this themselves if they have the skills in excel or databases. But adding a screen like this and the results seems like it would be greatly used.

Need a little help here: I'm trying to export my Marvel collection via the publisher option button but it's only exporting books from the first title (2001, A Space Odyssey) of my Marvel collection. I switched to DC and the same thing happened. It only printed a list of the first title (All-Star Squadron) of my DC collection. How can I export my complete Marvel collection into one excel sheet? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah, we're going to have some more export formats in the next version. CSV is the likely candidate, but I gotta warn y'all... it will be a dump that will not be for the faint of heart. We keep a LOT of data and getting it all at once will be unwieldy for anyone other than you database wizards

My unsolicited suggestion is that if you want to write SQL programming for data export you volunteer to assist admins here. I'd like mine in a common format. If the export was in "comma delimted text" or something - I could import to excel or access or SQL database. May be confusing to the average user, but might be a more practical suggestion that special programming stuff.
Only my opinion. Not that anyone listens...

So you can't save/print your entire collection unless you do it for each individual publisher and combine the files, or put all of your comics into one box?

Hello and thanks for such a great site! As a new collector I am wanting to export my lists into excel, and I love that this can be done, but there is one column missing on the export and I was wondering if this would be something you could add please.

On the site, we can enter the value we paid for an issue. Can this column be exported as well? You have the pricing information, but not the price paid value.
