Unless you want to advertise to someone local to look at and decide. Knowledge is power so the more knowledge you have about the comics the better off you'll be.

Just look under the X-men title (the 1991 series). Then hit the annual tab.

Should be the same with X-Man. Just look for the series, then the "annuals" tab.
Instead of numbering the annuals 1,2,3... they numbered with the year. What a gimmick!

The additional character - while on the cover - is not in the actual title of the comic.
