I bought a cool poster on ebay for my collection. It isn't technically in the criteria in which I collect. My crossover posters are 20th Century...just like my comics and cards.

Still, I couldn't resist! Check it out:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Marvel-vs-DC-Toy-Fight-poster-art-print-by-Ryan-Dunlavey-Minimates-Lego-/181624964735?hash=item2a49b1067f:g:ON8AAMXQoiJRgd4G

At this writing, there is only one left!
edited by Crossoverking on 5/2/2016

Thank you for your comments! Well, I know at least two buyers for the book now...me and you!! One of my all time favorite crossovers was the Batman/Predator series. They had good stories, great art and some very good covers.

Regarding your comments on Predator/Archie...years ago I felt the same way with Punisher/Archie. That one turned out to be not so bad.

Yours in Crossovers!

I dabble in crossovers not exclusively but, i do like to read all iterations of my favorite characters.

I am also VERY interested in this guide you mentioned. When it's completed I'd like a copy for sure.

I like anything aliens or predator so when superman or batman or vampirella take them on my curiosity just tingles like Spidey's spider sense. my latest pick up was the predator/archie book it seems so wrong but I had to bite.

also like unusual team ups as well.

GREAT TOPIC!!

kds_comics...its not a contest to win or lose! I truly was glad for your input. What if I hadn't had the Weirdsville #5? That is one of the reasons I started this thread...to see if someone mentions an intercompany crossover that I missed along the way. I'm nearing completion on a history/collector's guide to 20th Century intercompany crossovers. My goal is to not miss any comic that falls into that category.

Yes...it is somewhat obscure research. However, I feel it is necessary. It is necessary for completists who are looking for every appearance of their favorite character, including ashcans, previews, alternate covers, etc. There are MANY intercompany crossover books that are not listed in many (if not ANY) priceguides &/or databases. Their history and covers will be lost to history if this book isn't published.

Many Wolverine and X-Men completists searched high and low back in 1998 for the Golden/Bennett cover of the X-Men/WildC.A.T.s Dark Age Marvel/Image intercompany crossover. It was supposed to be a 50/50 cover along with the Broome/Parsons cover. I doubt that a single LCS in the USA received the Golden/Bennett cover. Yet, they were shipped! I searched on and off for 14 years for the book and was on the verge deciding that it was probably never printed (except in German). I found it. So...what may have been virtually lost to history and unknown to Wolverine, X-Men or WildC.A.T.s completists...will soon be known and a LOT of collections will be MORE complete!

I won't even get into details here (yet) on the Crow/Razor Kill The Pain #0 , Red Velvet cover with silver embossing! Crow (and Razor) collectors need to know of that book. It is in NO price guides or databases...and NO scans online or in any published material that I know of. You'll only find the silver embossed cover.

There are more than a few comic book enthusiasts that have enjoyed one or MANY intercompany crossovers in the past.

Let's here from you in this thread!

(That's a compliment). Not much more I can say. I thought the Weirdsville one was sufficiently obscure. You win.

KDS

There are plenty of examples of where comic book companies lend a character to another company or companies buy characters from each other.

In comics, there are cross-overs. JLA/ Avengers comes to mind
It comes to mind because it was drawn by George Perez - who set out to
pencil AND ink every character in the DC and Marvel Universe.

http://comicspriceguide.com/collection/marvel/jlaavengers/1/skqxcv

Plenty of others in comic book land. An obscure miniseries "The L.A.W." (Living Assault Weapons) done by Giordano and Layton for DC paid tribute to the Charlton comics incorporated into the DC Universe.

There are plenty of cross overs - because companies though it would make a buck. A few more come to mind...
Superrman / Spide-rman Treasure edition; Batman / Spawn. Teenage Ninja Turtles and - alos every character you can name.

Here's one of my personal favorites I know you do not have. Weirdsville meets Shi!
Okay, not technically a cross-over, more of a cameo. But what the hey...

Holy indeed.
KDS

Hi all. I'm Jerry Hopfer from Johnstown, PA and have an unusual genre that I collect in...20th century intercompany crossovers. I'm not sure how to kick off this thread other than by asking...is there anyone else out there that collects intercompany crossovers also?

I have every one that I know of...but am always looking for anything I may have missed along the way. So far, I have identified (again...just 20th century) 346 intercompany crossovers, 218 alternate covers, 22 trade paperbacks, 12 non-ashcan previews, 9 non-ashcan preview alternate covers, 11 ashcans, 2 ashcan alternate covers, 7 reprints, 2 paperbacks and 1 hardcover...630 intercompany crossover books altogether.

Does anyone want to discuss in this area? If you also research in this area...please reply!
