Nice collection of movies. I like the sic-fi and cartoon stuff too and have thought about starting a collection.

Nice TV collection, Gil! The only one that I've seen out of those is Black Adder (I'm not really a TV person so I haven't seen much), but some of those sounds pretty interesting like Lexx. Those huge sets for Babylon and The X Files look awesome too!

LEXX 1-4, 1997 - 2002. One of the best Sci-Fi shows out there! Very odd, Dark & Cruel. (Not for kids Lol).
Brilliant, Although it did start to lack towards the end. It would take a month of Sundays to explain what this is about. It also stars the stunning Xenia Seeberg.




Babylon 5 1-5, 1994 - 98.
My most recent addition to my collection, Not easy to find in Australia (was common years ago) Although not in a huge box like this one. Has everything, All the movie's & the underrated Crusade series.
Only saw the odd episode in the day, I have many many hours of catching up on 90's T.V. goodness.






Black Adder 1-4, 1983 - 89.
Your either a fan or not & well i love it. How does one sum up the words to explain this series...I can't, But the "Wise Woman" might know!






X-Files 1-10, 1993 - 2002. I still think this was the best T.V. series ever, Although not my personal favorite it is in my top 3.
This set is like a huge book with oversize thick pages that has the disks in the sides. Includes the 2 movie's.
Oh! by the way...This set weights a friggin' ton.





Most Haunted early 1 - 7 series (still going i think) 2002 - Current.
Whether you believe or not this was an entertaining series. The crew visited some beautiful places.

I'm a big Studio Ghibli fan ever since I caught the massively butchered Warriors of the Wind (Nausicaa) on pay TV in the 80s. Even their worst films are still pretty good (the Ursula le Guin adaptation was pretty weak).

About 15 years ago, I was writing for an anime magazine and I was given an opportunity to interview Hayao Miyazaki at the Toronto Film Festival (while he was promoting Princess Mononoke). I went to the interview, watched him being interviewed by Roger Ebert in the hotel room, only to find out that they had cancelled my interview and neglected to inform me. So I never had my chance to ask him anything.

If you ever have the chance to go to Japan, you have to go to the Ghibli Museum outside of Tokyo -- it's amazing.

Gil, you ever seen Last Exile? Highly recommended. It is one of my favorite series. The DVDs are cheap now compared to when it was first released on DVD and getting the complete series as a set can be had.

I heard it's really sad! I normally don't get emotional during movies, so I'll have to see how I end up handling that one.
Hm...seems like I should try to watch Arrietty and Grave of the Fireflies around the same time if I can. I could watch Grave of the Fireflies first, and then I could watch Arrietty afterwards to have something to cheer me up from the other movie! I really like movies that have good music too, so I'm looking forward to hearing the music from Arrietty!

Arrietty sounds good by what I've heard of it! I'm currently trying to watch all of Studio Ghibli's films, and that one is near the top of my "to watch" list!
Monkey definitely sounds intriguing to me and I'd like to see it if I can. I likely won't be able to find it here, but I'll be on the lookout for it just in case I actually can find it since there are a couple video stores and import shops that may have it. Hopefully I will get lucky!

Ah, Robocop tv series. I don't remember much plot wise but I know I liked watching the tv series. Too bad it was only for one season.

Studio Ghibli makes some great anime films. Haven't seen My Neighbor Totoro though. Seen Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke.

Also a fan of Adventure Time. Also like Regular Show.

Hooray for Studio Ghibli! I absolutely love My Neighbor Totoro; it's such a great movie. Totoro is so adorable too! I haven't had a chance to see Arrietty yet, but I heard that one was supposed to be good! I will have to see if I can see that soon!

I haven't heard of Monkey before, but that sounds interesting. I'll have to check that out if I can although I'm not sure if I'll be able to find that here.
