I had mentioned in a "what's hot" about the romance books and how they look to be heating up. Here are some I have picked up over the last 6-9 months. Only one is a Marvel, but it is a beauty.

I picked it up with the Bunny. It went quite a bit more than what any of the guides have them at. It's a great book and the yellows are incredible.

The rest of the romance books are from an auction of high grade Harvey File copies. I managed to snag a handful.

More in the next post.

Sargon

I have heard about it for years and Overstreet had a big thing on it in the last guide. One of the guys I purchase stuff from on Ebay has sold a number of them and so when one came up at the right price, I grabbed it.

The production values reminds me of some of the First Comics, especially in the area of coloring. The story itself was fun and light, but I can't say I have a burning desire to track down any more copies of it.

Sargon

Here are some books from the last 6 months which are all over the place in terms of publishers and topics. I'll start with some Westerns which I grabbed from an Ebay dealer I've known for a while. His grades for these books were a bit... generous at times, but I snagged them at terrific values, especially the Dale Evans at under $5

Next, we have a pair of Spirits and a hero from up North.

Finally, we have the last issue of Classics Illustrated which was only reprinted one time and I'll see if you can guess why....

This is a first print in FN+/VF- condition. I guess everyone has to start somewhere...

And after reading that Mouse on the Moon book... it's going to need some serious drink to get through. Maybe even more than I had watching the original Casino Royale.

Sargon

Here are some more DC's I have picked up along the way. It's a nice mixture of items.

I am slowly completing this series though I have noticed the prices for the back issues of it and Demon have steadily increased over the last few months. This one is quite nice especially for a 52 pager.

Jungles and Joe Kubert. There really isn't much more to say. His Tarzan run was incredible.

This is an upgrade over the copy I bought ages ago when I was trying to get all of the JLA/JSA crossovers. Now I am going to try to upgrade the condition of them. The sound effects on the cover are OUTRAGEOUS!

It's a great JLA with Despero, one of the most dangerous villains they ever faced.

Sargon
