Cheers Ruk,  as long as you are up and about, I might as well tell you about the crazy thing I did. Time will tell if it was the right thing to do, but as of right now, it was a deal I could not pass up. I spent a large chunk of change, on only fifteen books. All books were mid-grade keys. Twenty years ago, I sold off some keys to put a nice down payment on my house. That was hard.  In May of this year, I paid off my home, so I've been looking for deals on Marvel keys and a couple of weeks ago I found one.  Like I said, a deal I could not pass up. Right now, I'm very happy with the deal.  It bumped up my collections value considerably.

After purchase:
Value: $499,610.80
I'm hoping to get them cleaned and pressed, to get them up even a little higher.

PSSS-I see only Marvel comics in your display case
where is DC?
where is Fawcett?
Where is Dell?
these young fellers do not appreciate the Classics................

Hi Ruk, you see so much Marvel because those are my most valuable books. I do have 1700 DC and 33 Dell books, they're just not valuable enough to make the list. (There are a couple DC in display case, a 7.0 Batman #181 and a graded 9.6 Batman Adventures #12) As far as classics go, my Disney movie poster collection has them all.  I have three rooms of my home filled with Disney, from movie posters to stuffed animals.

For me- I am trying to get all the Four Color (colour-Canadian Spelling) Dell-there are over 1000
and you never mentioned Captain Marvel Adventures by Fawcett-I own the full set _maybe shy one or 2 but some are in Lousy condition
But congrats-nice move-

Hi Ruk, so how many Four Colors do you have? There are 1332, of which I have only 21 but I do have all 16 of the Goofy books.
I don't have much for Golden Age books, I think two, my oldest is Jimmie Durante Comics #1 from 1948

It is a bit hard to count since they start with-Single series-I have 5
and then close to 500 of the Four Color-but some titles came out a few times
Like Little Orphan Alley etc.-one of my favourites-
so let me say 500 or so
hard to find
as for Captain Marvel -I am a huge fan of Fawcett-great titles-good artists
try Wow-Master-Captain Marvel Junior-Mary Marvel-Marvel Family -Whiz-
I am mainly a Golden Age guy-one of our friends on this list flew into the Great White North many years ago-
-he said if he and I wd join forces-we might have the largest collection around
Course I know there are people not on this list with super duper collections but the thought was most kind.
Wonder if he still wants to Join forces?
Like Superman and Batman
