I saw another well-known database site that listed this series as Vol 7. so seems to be some disagreement on that. Ronbatman can weigh in next time he checks the forums and 'splain things.

I don't think it was a mis-number as I have seen other places using the same numbering. Unless the other places also used CPG for their info. I figured there was a publication announcement I didnt find or something I missed as I read very few TMNT.

I'll take a shot, but an admin can give you the correct answer.
Vol 6 2011-2024 may refer to the 6th SERIES of TMNT from all publishers. Vol 2 may refer to just IDW's series, so the 2024-current is Vol 2 for them, counting the Vol 6 series as their Vol 1. But maybe it should be Vol 7? I gave up a while back trying to figure out how/why CPG does Volumes, and sometimes they mis-number them too.
and note to admins, this series seems to be a duplicate listing for the 2024-current series, and the page says "There are no issues associated with this title." https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles/phxvjs
edited by collectibleshop on 2/3/2025

I just started cataloging my newly purchased comics and then got confused then a little more confused. I add comics on here as well as a database I created so before adding my TMNT, IDW Comics, July 2024 I looked at my database. I noticed I had a TMNT, IDW Comics, Vol 6 in my system so when I looked up the newer issue I was thrown off that it stated Vol 2 for the July 2024 issue. I then re-looked up my older comic assuming I inputted Vol 6 incorrectly but then as previously stated got a little more confused to see I was correct that the older edition is Vol 6 and newer going backwards in time (hence post title) was Vol2.

If anyone reads this and has a simple explanation, please let me know. I'm assuming it has more to do with story continuity as opposed to publication, but as I only read random issues of TMNT I am not certain. LMK Thanks.
