The animation itself is fine. The whole premise of changing virtually everything about an established universe is where I get hung up a bit.
The race swapping is a bit odd and unnecessary in my opinion. If it didn't impact the story telling, it'd be one thing. But there was a race related joke which makes it a bit of a thing. The joke was about Fred getting help from Velma with his Spanish homework because he thought she was Mexican.

Also, what's with sober Shaggy? And no Scooby?
