according to CPG's list, first print was 11/43 and .10 cover, yours has a .15 cover. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classic-comics-15---uncle-toms-cabin/1/pctpku

yours might be https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classic-comics-15---uncle-toms-cabin/14/pctphv or another edition.

CPG mixes Classic Comics and Classics Illustrated together. This page will show you all the editions of #15, but many are missing pics: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classic-comics-15---uncle-toms-cabin/pnwxb

Casper, #6 has a sideways half image: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classic-comics-15---uncle-toms-cabin/pnwxb#srcGroup-6

found what's supposed to be an HRN 71 on e*** along with some others that matched (.15 price is on the right side vs the left), so cleaned and straightened it up and attached it.
edited by collectibleshop on 12/31/2021
edited by collectibleshop on 12/31/2021

You need to reference the ad on the back cover, or back of the front cover. With Classics Illustrated you need to know the HRN (Highest Reorder Number) from that ad to determine which book you have. So in your example here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classic-comics-15---uncle-toms-cabin/3/pctpkw , you notice this entry is for HRN 21. The highest =reorder box/line would literally be 21. If the ad is higher, like 134, you need to find the entry for that HRN version.

The covers for the issues often change for the same issue, but with different HRNs and they span years.

Here is a pretty good FAQ on this set of books: https://ccsbooks.co.uk/classics-illustrated-faqs/

-David

There are many variants and permutations of this book.
The interior of my cover says July 1944 and appears to be a first printing.
Note this is "Classics Illustrated" and not "Classic Comics" as listed here.

https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/classic-comics-15---uncle-toms-cabin/3/pctpkw

scan attached
