Based on the timeline and the books you listed Venom and Amazing Spiderman could have issues that are worth grading. Amazing 300 is almost always worth grading.

It all depends on what you have, the condition, and ultimately the bump in value you will get from having the comic book graded. To grade an individual book it will cost you about $30 not including shipping. So if you have a raw book that is $20 and you see that graded prices for a similar condition book is $100 — then that might be worth your time as your cash out the door is $30+ but you would certainly get a profit.

Just check which ones will get you a profit and those may be your grading candidates.

Hubby has a huge stack of comics that I've been put in charge of finding new homes for. So now I'm trying to value them with the help of CPG and ebay sold listings.

They're mostly 1991-1994, that he was meticulous about reading carefully, then putting in a sleeve with cardboard. Literally read once and stored. And even when he read them, he barely opened them so he wouldn't bend the cover/pages.

I'm seeing some serious disparity between ebay non-rated prices and rated prices - and then there's the question of who would pay rated prices. Is it worth to send off about 39 comics?

Any advice?

Hubby's Collection Includes:
Venom
Batman Returns
X-men adventures
Gambit
Spider-Man
Superman
X-men classic
The amazing Spider-Man
The Punisher
Spawn
TMNT Adventures
Flash
Rocketeer
Roger rabbits toontown
Roger Rabbit
