There were advertised as correct - not trimmed - so as you say - not immediately obvious if you are assuming they are good. Plus Marvel comics at that time often had covers that were off-center in late 1960s into 1970s - this make it even harder to spot. I do not care to list specific comics - but they are Silver/Bronze age comics with and untrimmed value of $30 to $80 each.Enough of a value to 1) cheat someone by selling as untrimmed and 2) value correctly as trimmed for resale. Does anyone have a guide/tips/tricks as to how to grade? Amateur trim of about 1/16 of an inch one or two edges - hard to see unless you compare to a good copy.
I do NOT need... How did I not see it, blah. blah, blah. ??? As a reminder - comics from the 1960s and 70s occasionally had printing offsets that are not trims or defects - just that the graphics are not center n the paper - this does not necessarily indicate a trim. At this point - it is what it is.
