<description><![CDATA[after you've determined your grades, go do some research on SOLD CGC Sandman prices on 'that' auction site and other venues to get an idea of what they're going for in 9.4., 9.6., 9.8. Like Ron said, modern 9.4's often aren't worth grading, although #1s and 1st Appearances might be if in demand and valuable enough raw. Moderns under $200 graded value will cost you $20 plus shipping to and from the grading companies, so plan on adding a few dollars per book for that too. If the value is over $200 and under $400 you're going to have to pay $38 (for CGC anyway). <br/>Looks like Sandman 1 in 9.8 is generally selling a little under $400, so you'd only have to pay $20 for grading. Looks like #1, #4, #8 are worth grading in 9.4 too. I saw some 9.8s of some of the others below 10 only getting $19.99, and up to $30, so not worth it, but there may have been extenuating circumstances with those, I didn't go read the listings.<br/><br/>Just because I feel charitable, here's a search string to use on that auction site that will get you most of the CGC 1-10s in 9.4, 9,6 ,9.8 that are unsigned in 1 search, plus a few unrelated keyword spamming issues:<br/>(1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) (9.4,9.6.,9.8) sandman cgc -(ss,signature,signed,pgx,kirby,22)<br/><br/>Send that commission check to....<br/><i>edited by collectibleshop on 3/25/2019</i>]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[The first thing that you should do is study the books and try to find any flaws, blunt corners, spine creases, minor folds, etc.  Look at the front and back cover for any issue.  Every flaw can lower the grade of the book.  I wouldn't send off any book that shows more than one very minor flaw.  When those books get to 9.6 and below it isn't hardly worth the time and effort to get them professionally graded. <title>Message from Jasonkron</title>
<description><![CDATA[Sorry if this has been discussed, i'm still dipping my toes back into the water. <br/><br/>Long story short, my brother and I used to collect comics in the mid 80's until late 80's.  We were true collectors and took care of everything.  I'm looking to sell parts of the collection and obviously want to maximize the value.  <br/><br/>Here is my question.  I have Sandman 1-10 in what I believe is 9.4 or above quality.
