I'm running out of comics to grade. Unless I send some stuff in to get slabbed, I'm going to peter out around $342K. Even if all my best stuff was graded and slabbed, I don't think I'd ever be able to reach your heights, Ruk. You must have one hell of a collection!

PS-I started collecting when Howdy Doody was the only TV Program on TV-and of course-test pattern
so I do have a bit of a head start.
My parents bought one of the earliest TVs-it had a wood cabinet and looked like a writing desk.
For years my Mom used it as a desk for odds and sods.
Those were the days.

If I had held on to all my big marvels (spider 1-20I sold just 2 months before the pandemic hit, I would have cracked the top 10 easily. I’ve got only a couple of stray short boxes left to look at. Definitely not going to reach ptthomas2010. I bow to thee good sir!

I tried to edit out the list of books I sold, but the site took a dump on me and left part of the edit behind. Can’t fix it. Needless to say, I’m REALLY bummed about the difference in value for those books then versus now. Most now worth double, triple, and in a couple of cases like my NM+ GSX1’s, 10 times what I sold for at the end of 2019.

Dear Agamoto (*EEIG)
In my real life I do real stuff
and my philosophy is -
if you sell and make a profit-do not upset yourself -if prices go up.
As a matter of fact-a good deal is when both Seller and Buyer walk away happy -and not feel they got hosed.
Having said that --I have sold many times and been troubled in seeing the latest values.
It is human to do that
But as I close in on 80 years on this planet -I just appreciate being here-and spending time with my favourite hobby
