I assume by census you mean the CGC census? What consideration, if any, is given to CBCS population report? I have a 10 gem mint Superman Unchained #1 Neal Adams variant graded by CBCS and while it's in their population report, a 9.8 is the highest any CGC Superman Unchained variant goes in their census.

When we consider removing a grade we make sure it isn't in the CGC census. CBCS is a great company but isn't nearly as big as CGC. So currently, we only check CGC. However, if we eliminate something that is in the CBCS population we will happily add it back. We want all paying members to have every comic in their collection even if it's the only known copy.
It's really common for inexperienced collectors to add the highest grade. I've seen the numbers on your collection, you're not in that category.

As I approach my 80th Birthday in 10 months or so-I smile at your kind words-
I am so fond of this site-
Fact-Stan Lee did come to Comiccon in the Great White North a while ago-
it cost too much money for me to see him in person
but I was in the same bldg he was in-
that sd count
Those were the days when Comiccons had 200000 attendees- in the far distant past

There are a few that aren't even members anymore.
And quite a few that are only Bronze members so, how do they know their collection value?

Hey Guys and Gals.
we fool around a lot and there a few -usually have *EEIG -who are very serious about the list and their spot.
But in reality comics have sold for close to $3000000 but no one on the list is close to that
so while fun-this list is not really showing who has the best collection in the world.
But for us devotees-it is a blast
like a bunch of good friends comparing their collections.
and some have even ventured up North to compare notes.
So again-I do not work for this site-I have a full time day job --even tho I will be 80 in 10 months-Please G-d--
so l will let the list stay on-anyone who is on this list-at one time -in the last 14 years- sent in their numbers.
Does that make sense?
some people in the past got angry at even having this list-so I said if you do not want to post-do not-I do not care.................. ..
