I wish there was a way to see what my collection would be worth if I had just allowed it to use the 9.4 grade default. I assume everyone else on this list took the time to assign a grade for each book? Took me for freaking ever.

Everybody with a "star" has taken the time to assign a grade, so if you would have left them all at 9.4, you wouldn't have got your star and we would have all looked down on you  (aren't you glad you took the time?)

i am on this site for close to 15 years and I take the time to grade each and every one-myself
Look- a wise guy said to me-(he is on the list) -2 things
1-if you cannot find a comic in 30 seconds it does not exist
and
2- if you do not grade each comic you will never know what your collection is really worth.
OK --I lied-he only said #1
#2 is mine
Like if you grade Detective 27 at 9.4 but it is only a .5 do you think there is much sense in that?
Who are you fooling-or is it whom are you fooling?

LOL, I suppose some folks out there don't care about the grade and just use the site to know which cubby/drawer/box/glove compartment they shoved that Amazing Fantasy 15!
I didn't realize that about the star, I had wondered what it meant. I guess I missed that.

We have people on the site who put EVERYTHING in their collection as graded 10.0! (Even when no 10.0 exist in the census) I'm not sure if they are doing this to brag or to show the insurance company the value of their collection. They will not be happy as we continue to eliminate books that aren't in the census.
