My shop is having a 3 day sale. All of their bargin bin comics were .25 a piece. Now the sale is .10 comics but ya gotta buy 100 books. That is still only $10.00 for 100 books. I bought 160 books and still only went through about 6 boxes. There were about 15 boxes all together. I also the #2 TPB of the walking dead. Good stuff.

My recent pick-ups are:

Giant Size X-men #1 (don't get too excited -- it's missing the back cover, but I wanted to have one for the longest time).

And a bunch of early FF to complete my quest: 9, 13, 29, 34, 38, and 41.

So for FF I now have 9, 13, 16, 19-25, 29-39, 41, 46, 47, 50-61, 64-67, 69-71, 76-78, 84, 87, 88, 95, 97, 98. I'm only focusing on the 1st hundred issues for now.

I bought like 15 books from a friend who was just getting rid of his books.
I don't remember all of them but I did get the GL where Hal fights Guy for the sector not valuable but it's one of my favorites now.
I also got the sketch variant cover for Gambit #1 vol. 3 if i manage to get a scanner I'll scan it forthe site cause it's not there.
And part of the X-Cutioner song saga for X-Men
Then some others that were just random things of no value but I'm still happy I'm on the road to 400 books only like 41 left

"Show me a man or a woman alone and I'll show you a saint.
Give me two and they'll fall in love.
Give me three and they'll invent the charming thing we call 'society'.
Give me four and they'll build a pyramid.
Give me five and they'll make one an outcast. Give me six and they'll reinvent prejudice.
Give me seven and in seven years they'll reinvent warfare.
Man may have been made in the image of God, but human society was made in the image of His opposite number, and is always trying to get back home." - Glen Bateman, The Stand

I don't really know if these count as back issues, they are only a few months old but toda I picked up Ultimate Spiderman 98,99
and Uncanny X-Men 475
I started getting both books in the middle of a series and needed to track down the first parts
I'm now up to speed with the Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire but still need part 1 of the Clone Saga

LCS let me look through some of his boxed comics and sold me the following for $1.00 each. All, except the Flash comics, were in at least fine condition or better.
Spiderman vs.Dracula #1
Ultimate X-Men #1
The Flash # 194 and 197 (in good and VG+ respectively)
Our Army At War featuring Sargeant Rock #165
The Amazing Spiderman 388, 397, 402
Superman-Aliens TPB 1,2, and 3 of 3
The Uncanny X-men 192,233,235,238,239,245,279,285 Annual 17
Fantastic Four #64 (F/VF)
Moon Knight # 1, 3
Spiderman-Maximum Clonage #1
Wolverine # 60, 70, 73, 93
Batman and the Outsiders #1
Godzilla Color Special #1 from Darkhorse Comics
Superman #1
Withblade #20
Marvel Tales Featuring Spiderman #266
Batman # 477,482,483,496,500,501,502,519
Venom-Carnage Unleashed #3
Godzilla King of the Monsters (Marvel) 1,3,4,5,6 (picked up 3 copies of each).
Some of these I don't collect personally, but figured for the price I could sell or trade for things I do. Not to bad for a $1 each. He even bagged and boarded them for me.

Just got another trade completed with mycomicshop.

I got FF 72, 73, 74, 75 and 79 (supposedly all Fine, but two were very fine and two VG -- so much for QC standards) and Journey into Mystery Vol.2, 8 & 9.

So for FF I now have 9, 13, 16, 18-25, 29-39, 41, 42, 46-48, 50-62, 64-67, 69-79 84, 87, 88, 90, 95, 97, 98. I'm only focusing on the 1st hundred issues for now.

Just picked these up today at my LCS for 20 cents each. I have no desire to collect these, but figured I could sell them on Ebay for a profit to buy what I do collect.

Kull the Destroyer #21 (2 copies), 22,23,24,25,27,28. Average condition is Fine (some VF). 30 and 35 cent covers

Red Sonja She-Devil with a Sword (60 cent covers) #1,2,5,6,7,8,9. #1 is probably VG with the rest being Fine.
