I would have to say mine would be.....

From Marvel I must say Uncanny X Force...

From DC I would have to say detective comics the new 52...

From Image most def.. The Walking Dead..

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”

It is a story about an FDA Agent who solves crimes by getting psychic impressions by eating things, including people.

Set in a world where all chicken and other bird meats are illegal, after a catastrophic outbreak of the bird flu that killed 23 million Americans, Chew centers on Tony Chu, a police detective who is a Cibopath (pronounced "see-bo-path"[3]). Tony becomes a vice cop with the Philadelphia Police Department, and when on assignment, trying to find people smuggling chicken, he enters a black market chicken restaurant on invitation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). He has a bowl of chicken soup only to find he gets a psychic impression of the cook killing people and putting them into the soup. He goes to bust the cook, only for the cook to kill himself outside the restaurant. Chu eats the cook to find out the names of the rest of the victims. He is fired from his job with the Philadelphia PD and gets hired on to the FDA by an agent named Mason Savoy, who is also a cibopath.[4]

wow tough question.

Marvel

- Uncanny X-force is my choice pick but Daredevil, Wolverine and the X-men tie at 2nd

- honorable mention Incredible Hulk (despite the often horrid art)

* Everything else I buy at marvel right now usually falls in between average to slightly better than average on an issue per issue basis. That said they have some creative changes coming and A vs X should give some of these titles a jolt of freshness when the dust settles. I just wish they'd come to a pt where they realize that everyone doesn't need to be on multiple teams. (wolverine 3 teams, while the thing, cage, iron first, dr strange, spidey, storm are all on two teams - and by teams I'm strickly speaking avengers/defenders/x-men/fantastic four - not various facets/spinoffs within each.

DC

-Swamp Thing inches ahead of the pack of late. Batman and Wonder Woman round a tight race for 2 and 3 for me.

-honorable mention - I, Vampire has been really amping up of late while Animal Man has drifted down the charts a bit for me. Both are still must haves for me though.

*DC has me excited each and every week for some release. While you don't need to read any other title within the franchises to get the entire story - you do appreciate seeing what happens in Batman ripple in Nighwing, or things that happen in say Swamp thing affects or reflects what might be going on in Animal Man. There are unsolicitated guest appearances all over the place that are always an added bonus. Not sure how long this can all last for - with so many creators and what not but it's definately a much better and co herent universe than we've seen in a major company in along time.

Image

Not buying any on goings, so I'm probably not the best to accurately reflect what is going on over there. that said Green Wake was a fantastic series that just recently ended. I've also tried a half dozen other #1's in the last couple of months and most were entertaining. If I had unlimited resources I'd be buyng a heck of a lot more image stuff. But as it is I love my superheroes.

Darkhorse

Enjoying the Strain. Not picking anything else up right now.

Radical

They need to put more stuff out already! loved Abattoir - if you dig horror you should give it a go. there should be a trade availible by now!

The only current title I'm READING is The Walking Dead.

But I'm still trying to catch up on early 90's image stuff that I'm slowly getting closer to completing, like Stormwatch, Cyber Force, Grifter and so on...

Even worse than that is my valiant collection.... still missing quite a few issues that are keeping me from starting at the beginning. ( I really hate to skip around and try to keep stories and origins straight.)

That being said I am hoping to hop on the new 52 here soon though it's not looking very promising financially. (WE NEED A ROOF ON THE HOUSE!)

In no particular order:

Fatale

Batman (new 52)

Green Lantern (new 52)

Wonder Woman (new 52)

Daredevil

Ultimate Spiderman (guilty pleasure. Love Miles and the character development)

Ya I know, more than 3, but its a tough question.

Good question,

1. ATLAS/ARDDEN's The Phoenix: ( Love the art! Love the story! Love the characters!)

2. DC's Men of War: 1st new SGT Rock! 1st Captain Georges Saint! And a riveting story in #7 called "Survival Mode" that nearly broke my heart.

3. Marvel's Battle Scars: Army Ranger Marcus Johnson is one bad mutha wo we find happens to be related to another bad mutha. Runs in the family. Wink

Thought the first 4 issues of battle scars was so-so. But man #5 was killer. It shocked me.
