Your quickest and most accurate way to find out their "book value" would be to go get a free membership in our priceguide (link at the top of the page)...look them up...enter them...and you'll know in a flash (relatively speaking) if it was worth it or not...

I doubt anybody else is going to do that for you...and just looking at the list isn't going to give you a very accurate estimate. Wink

I count about 75 comics.

They might cost money if you wanted to buy them at a comic shop at a high rent area in London (they'd have to factor in shipping, retail space, labor, taxes, etc).  on ebay, sold as a collection, the winning bid would be less than a dollar (US) each (plus shipping).

But none of it is high demand.  I'd guess about a 50% chance of no bidders if the starting bid was 4 for a buck.

Don't think any comic shops would pay cash for them, not even a penny each. Lots of them wouldn't even take them for free, they couldn't be sold for the overhead cost of selling them.

"bulk comics" - that's what they are.  Some people love 'em, 'cause a savy shopper can buy an 8" stack for under ten cents a comic.  £50 would be a generous offer. You should have took his used video games instead. Angry
